I put my name on the waiting list in Feb 2016. Received an email asking me to call them on the 15th June at 9am but don't have any interest in a ST so didn't bother.

They have called three times since and sent numerous emails last one of which today.

My old man has never been on the waiting list and occasionally gets calls from the club offering him a season ticket, latest one being last week.

I didn't go over there at all last season... The first time that has happened since i was 5 years old.

But if you had a chance of renewing this season, aftyer the managerial appointment and the signings we've made, you'd be fucking mental not to renew!

Well FMOB! I no sooner look up the last email and I get another arrive not 5 minutes ago....

Hi Will,

West Ham United are delighted to confirm the Club record signing of Brazilian attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson.

The attacking midfielder is the Hammers’ seventh signing of the summer so far after the arrivals of Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko and Fabian Balbuena.

Due to your position on the Season Ticket Waiting List, you now have priority to secure a Season Ticket for the 2018/19 season.

With just a limited number of Season Tickets remaining, we recommend calling the Ticket Office at the earliest opportunity to finalise your seats. Call 0333 030 1966 (option 3) between 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday.

Please have your client reference number to hand – xxxxxx - and make note of the additional information here.

I think even the WH sales team know enough not to bother phoning me in France JAC...

I doubt they have my number anyway!

Re: 92% of Season Ticket Holders have renewed!
Obviously the 50,000 on the waiting list is classic Brady bullshit. I left England 11 years ago and let my season ticket lapse but still keep getting emails inviting me to take a season ticket. I have never requested going on a waiting list.

Here's a C&P from the last with my real details obliterated....

Hi Will,

Jack Wilshere is the latest addition to Manuel Pellegrini's squad. The former Arsenal midfielder joins Łukasz Fabiański, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks as the Hammers summer signings so far ahead of the new season.

Due to your position on the Season Ticket Waiting List, you now have priority to secure a Season Ticket for the 2018/19 season.

We recommend calling the Ticket Office at the earliest opportunity to finalise your Season Ticket seats, on 0333 030 1966 (option 3). Phone lines open 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday.

Please have your client reference number to hand – xxxxxx - and make note of the additional information here.

Re: 92% of Season Ticket Holders have renewed!
Ive been on the list since 2016 but have had a seasson ticket since we moved ,still the club called me on Sunday at morning asking if I wanted a season ticket.
This is additional to the 4 emails they sent me over last 2 months and have ignored my reply.

Seems they cant give them away!

So it's quite possible that I'm on the "Waiting List" even though I stopped going to games not long after we beat Arsenal in the FA Cup.

I kept my season ticket for another year as one of my brothers was using it, but then he, too, found that other commitments stopped him going.

No intention of finding out though - sleeping dogs and all that.

Given the timeline, if the 50,000 waiting list was true at the time of announcement then I must have been at least 40,000 on that list.
So it is fairly safe to assume the 50,000 number is utter bullshit or they are not allocating tickets in order. Given how the club is run it is probably both.

Been discussed before - anyone holding any kind of club membership prior to the move was automatically put on the Season Ticket Propaganda/Waiting list.

Re: 92% of Season Ticket Holders have renewed!
Quite a lot of people using the homeless night shelter in Romford always seem to get hold of free tickets for ANY game at the O/S - those that support West Ham are fairly made up, others just go to while away a Saturday afternoon somewhere that's not Romford.

They can't do evening k/os as the shelter doors close at 20:00 and guests need special dispensation to be let in later - going to football is not special enough.

"Says someone who supports Trump and Brexit."

I voted remain and have never supported Trump...

I just find the endless rants of wankers that want to deny democracy and spend years moaning about the man voted President funny.

That and people that make up stories to bolster their viewpoint like you Gavros.....

Re: 92% of Season Ticket Holders have renewed!
Bought a season ticket for me and my boy today.
I went on the list fairly late, fairly certain it just after we left Upton Park, so I was surprised to get a call yesterday. I had responded to a recent email to say I was still interested but after the 92% renewals announcement I didn’t think it was likely.
Given the timeline, if the 50,000 waiting list was true at the time of announcement then I must have been at least 40,000 on that list.

Anyway, I’m glad I’ve got the tickets (band 4) and my boy is made up.

Was talking to my mate the Man City fan who bought season tickets so his 11yo could see some PL football
They went to see Man City, Man U, Arsenal , Chelsea, Spurs & Liverpool.
I understand West Ham were also on the pitch but that was of little interest to them.
Don’t think they have renewed as the boy is playing on Saturdays now.
Told him that people like him need to fuck off. He agrees.
